User Permissions
From heavy and complex to light and simple
Our product user permissions were powerful, but very clunky. We would load everything, taking 10-15 seconds, and a customer would have to hunt and peck for the few specific pages that they needed in order to give their summer interns edit capabilities.
Now, we organize by product and high level lanes. A customer can drill down per product, folder, and even a search.
My favorite part is the toggle interaction that communicates that a user has permission to edit some, but not all, and with a quick touch they can one again give access to all.
